Granny Kate
A grandmother of three and the internet grandma of thousands of children. Bedtime tales, humour, flowers in her hair and a calm voice that makes falling asleep easier.
Who is Granny Kate
It began with one evening and one story recorded for her grandchildren. Then others joined — parents who needed a moment of quiet, and children who wanted one more story.
“Mrs Needle” is her first book — a story she told aloud long before it reached paper.
The evening ritual
Bedtime stories
For many children, Granny Kate's voice is the last thing they hear before sleep. That's why we take what she tells — and how — so seriously.
